Birthday Play by Play

Since I know you all are DYING to know...here was/are the plans, in PARTICULAR order!

Wednesday, lunch with girlfriend at Figo, yummy Italian place. Much good girl talk.

Thursday night, wonderful call with Nancy aka shoegal. We snarked over and while watching Dancing with the Stars and martinis and husbands and kids and life in general.

This morning, BamBam, Thumper and Jake the wonder lab all descended in one loud, hyper and love filled heap on my bed and the human boys proceeded to sing "Happy Birthday" in my ear at full lung strength whilst the dog licked my face and my husband laughed..HARD!

Lunch.....Casa Yo Mama with my three men (early dismissal day from school for the boys). Tortilla soup for me followed by food coma.

Tonight is movie night and momma does not cook, but shall open presents and all cards with glass o wine in hand. Afterwards I will finish reading "Love Walked In"....halfway through and veddy veddy good by the way.

Tomorrow ..I shall deliver scrap for hire album, collect $300 (deposit in DC trip savings account) and come home and SCRAP all day!!!

In the evening, hubby and I head off to the wine bar in Dunwoody for tapas, wine (duh) and a piano player who plays the old romantic standards! We shall dance and smooch and be silly and romantic.

Sunday.....church and birthday luncheon with the inlaws.

Tuesday, birthday celebration at work and lunch with my girlfriends. I had planned on Silk, an absolutely swank and delish Thai restaurant up the street from my office, but now that a big ole car went and crashed THROUGH the restaurant this morning, causing "significant structural damage" I'll have to rethink lunch locale plans.

So there you have it...WOOT...Happy Birthday to ME!

(ahem...yes I do subscribe to the spread your birthday out over 7 days theory. Because tis GOOD to be the Queen!)
