What I love about Fridays

I know.

I know.

We all lurve to utter TGIF almost like it's an expletive or a prayer or a battle cry

Me.....I'm going to give a list why I love Fridays with a passion bordering on obsession or something requiring a 10 step program. Take your pick.

1. I get to work from home on Fridays
Remember karma people....rechannel your expletives to a part of the universe that needs some negative energy.

2. I get to stay in my jammies until I decide a shower is in order (because I work from home on Fridays)

3. That desire to shower, usually hits around 11AM because I know my sweetie is going to come home and take me to lunch

4. I get to have a lunch date with my sweet hubby.
And we get to TALK.
In complete sentences.
Alone.
I KNOW. It is positively orgasmic.
(Wait should I type the "O" word? Will I get targeted by SPAM or worse funadmentalists who want to most earnestly enlighten me as to my sleazy interpretation of the sacred vows of marriage? Screw it. I'm holding the line at orgasmic)

5. After my orgasmic lunch date, my sweet hubby drives me back home and loads laundry for me to get a jump on the week-end.
(I know....we are practically approaching nirvanna here)

6. I get to snuggle with my big 80lb lab on the sofa while I summarize meds for work. Trust me. All in life is good when you have a big adoring furball of love watching every move you make with adoring eyes
(Note to readers. I'm talking about the lab, not my sweet hubby. Geesh)

7. Somewhere between the snuggling and the summarizing, I wander over to the kitchen and spend 5 minutes whipping up the dough for Mama John's pizza for family movie night.
Why?
Because I can and I have a kick ass Cuisinart and I like to "spoil" my men and I like feeling like Mother Earth and it only takes 5 minutes and my family thinks I'm a domestic goddess.

8. Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo Homework!!!! Nuff said

9. Instead of dealing with a hellacious commute from downtown, I'm picking up my kiddos at carpool and home by 3PM

10. Movie Night. Family Movie Night. I ADORE Family Movie Night.

We eat Mama John's pizza, we all pile on top of each other on the sofa, including the 80lb lab. We really need a bigger sofa. But if we did, would it be the same?. I'm not quite ready to find out yet. But right now we are all one big cozy, cramped, pile of people and pet. And we eat and we laugh and we cry and we snuggle and we just BE!

YEP. I love me my Fridays
