The countdown to December 25th begins and this year I find myself digging in my heels, turning my back to the wild, loud obnoxious voice that is commercial and throwing shoulda,woulda, couldas to the wind and saying.................This season I resolve these three things
1) Be at peace. With myself, my neighbors, my family, my friends. Life is too short to nurse the slights and slings of everyday life and miscues.
2) Be joyful. That I have people who love me, need me, want me. My best is good enough and if it isin't, then the ones who matter will get over it and those that don't...... well, they'll move on.
3) Be still. To hear the quiet voice of my God, my Creator and His/Her words of love and guidance in my life. And to prepare my heart for where I will be led.
