Cold, or what passes for cold down South, has descended on the heels of post holiday let down.
The glory days of popsicles and sangria and lazy evenings by the pool are just a shimmery mirage in the distant future.
So it's usually at this time in January I look at my disgustingly naked piggie toes (after pulling them out of socks and boots) and decide that a trip to the nail salon is needed post haste.
(sidenote: My toes are, by nature, genetically ugly. Add 15 years of jamming them into skin tight skating boots and toe shoes and you have the makings of one hot mess of a podiatrist's dream)
I also probably need to break out a fresh razor and go mannomanno with the stubbly forest that is inhabiting my lower gams ( my husband is MOST vigorously nodding his head in ascent on this topic)
But I'll save you from posting pixs of THAT unseemly sight.
So here they are
my poor piggies
in all their naked, rough cuticuled, desperately in need of a pumice stone glory.
I'll post a picture of their resurrection on Saturday
Gives you something to look forward to (snicker...NOT!)

'An Affair in Red Square'?
'Don't Toy with Me'?
or my all-time fave,
'Chick Flick Cherry'?
ps: I think your toesies are cute!
Did I miss the reveal? Shaving is so overrated.
I think your toesy are splendid. I have cute toes, but heels that look like the Atacama Desert during a drought.
BTW...Alexis is doing her 2nd competition in April. She is already at FreeSkate 3!
