The week-end? It was busy much.
No, see that's like Noah on the ark saying "A bit damp for this time of year, wouldn't you agree?"
So I'd just like to go on record right now with my grown up Christmas wish list.
Dear Santa. I have been very, very, VERY good this year. I have been raising two fine young boys, mostly without the loss of my sanity. In the process my house either looks perfect and I am exhausted or it's a disaster and I am exhausted from looking at the mess. So, Dear Santa may I please have:
1) A maid.
Unlike Barbie, she doesn't have to be pretty or have multiple changes of clothes. I just need her once a week for dust bunny control. The model that comes with her own supplies would be lovely, but not required!
2) A lawn care serviceman.
Unlike Ken, he doesn't have to be mindless hunk who looks good in shades. As a matter of fact, I would prefer he NOT be good looking, because then I might spend too much time looking out the window and not getting a blessed thing done. Again, just once a week. But this model does need his own tools since ours seem to always need to be serviced. THAT is not a comment on any ONE person's attempts to be Mr. Fix It in this house.
3) A sitter once a week
Preferably NOT Kelly Bundy. But I'm kind of desperate so as long as she has a clean record we're good. My kids are old enough now that they would narc out anyone breaking the rules. Heck they narc me out. WAit? Did I say that? Strike that!
Remember, I have been very, very, VERY good!!!
