Okay it's a small silly vain thing....
And the colors in the magazine are not true to the original
My hubby, the former printing/publishing guru, just gave me a VERY detailed explanation why. 4 color process, dulling the color.

I just got my first published layout back in the mail today along with my free preview copy of Scrapbook Answers and a check is in the mail!!!
And I giggled
And did a happy dance
And pinched myself.
I am SUCH a dork!
But I had to scan it and post it here, if for no other reason than it may never happen again.
And I'm fine with that.
I just loved showing the magazine to my boys and watching their faces light up and their squeals of
"hey look at me!"
"I'm famous"
"No you're not...I'm famous!"
"We're both famous!"
in unison "Mommy can we take the magazine with us to school on Monday for show and tell????"
Ruh Roh.......only one copy. Not on the stands yet.
Rock, paper, scissors it is and the winner gets to take it on Monday.
The loser, Tuesday, but also with a consolation prize of making chocolate chip cookies with me (which means you get to EAT the dough...bwa!)
