New Beginnings

Okay so December was an epic fail on the weekly blogging front.
What I have learned is that I don't have time for the weekly blogging thing.
So I'm shooting for monthly.

In 2012, I have taken the bold step (for me) of making New Year's resolutions.
I've never been big on them, but after committingg to and completing Iron Girl last year, I feel like I need to add some more challenges to my life.

And I need a way to keep myself accountable!

So my 12 for 2012 are (bolded accomplished this week)

1) Train 6 days per week

2) Compete, complete and better my times in the Iron Girl 2012.

3) Have our meal in the formal dining room for dinner at least 3 nights a week and use the good stuff on Sundays!
Life is too short, if it breaks, it can be replaced!


4) Read the Bible in a a year. A girlfriend has started a blog so I'm hopping on that one!

8) Journal my food daily on My Fitness Pal

9) Read 1 book a month (I'm going to be downloading them to my new I-pod nano for drives to and from work)

10) Cook one new healthy recipe a week
Greek Turkey Burgers - YUM!

11) Purge one small area of my house once a week
Freezer is looking good!

12) Skype with a family member once a month
