My boys don't start school until next Monday, but they are deep in the throes of football season (practice at least)
All the other neighborhood kids are back.....or are going back this week.
The only thing left to do is buy school uniforms and the pending damage to my bank account makes me lightheaded.
I feel like I should have been enrolled in some type of 30 day "back to school mommy boot camp" to prepare for the oncoming deluge.
1) 5 circuits of various office supply store forays to find ALL the items on the school supply list.
2) 10 circuits of going through each child/recruits clothes from last year to see what can be salvaged.
3) 20 circuits of cramming in every last sleep-over, play date and "fun days" to tide the juvenile recruits over to Christmas.
Are you tired reading that? I know I am.

Yeah
That would be me. Waiting for the mayhem of the school year to come washing over me in big crashing waves.
Anyone have a spare index finger they want to lend me?
Or a canoe? Maybe a personal flotation device?
I'm not picky....any port in a storm

hard to believe it's over. E starts school on monday. but my schedule won't be anything like yours. you are da man.
ps we have two kayaks. they're yours if you want 'em. :wink:
I feel your pain! I start in my new classroom this Monday and the boys start the Tuesday after Labor Day. And my baby is starting Kindergarten! Agh- life, slow down!
