1) The sound of a good hard down pour lulling me to sleep

2) The snap of a sail as it tacks into the wind

3) The sharp swish of a blade on glassy ice

4) The crunch of new fallen snow under foot

5) The pounding drumbeat of the ocean's surf

6) The call of a hawk to it's mate

7) A sigh of contentment

8) The squeal of delight from my boys when they see Jake, the wonder dog, in the back seat of the car during carpool

9) The clug, clug percolating sound of coffee brewing
